REAL BRIDES - Becky Cioffi

Posted by Amy Bellamy on

Becky and Marc Cioffi tied the knot on 29th June at the beautifully picturesque Wembury Church on the South Devon coast. Becky said "We chose this church because we have made some wonderful memories at Wembury over the years and the church is stunning". We must say that we whole-heartedly agree...

Becky tried on many wedding dresses in her quest to find the perfect gown, and said as soon as she tried on the ivory Ronald Joyce Nora dress she knew it was "the one". Becky says, "Amy and the team at Amica Bridal Boutique were exceptional". We think that this tulle ball gown-style wedding dress was made for Becky and she absolutely shone when she wore it - perfection.

Becky's talented mum (Flowers by Amanda) did the couple's flowers, and Becky chose peonies, country roses, eustoma, gypsophila and eucalyptus for her bridal bouquet. Keeping it personal and in the family, Becky's friend and hairstylist Jaimie Wooldridge did her hair, whilst talented make up artist Emmie Green was Becky's makeup artist, and friend Sue Emmett made the delicious-looking cake!

We thank Panache Photography for letting us share these stunning images of Becky and Marc's special day...

We asked Becky a few questions to help our brides-to-be with their own wedding planning...

Amica: Do you have any funny anecdotes about the day?

Becky: I thought I was going to have to get a taxi to church as the wedding car got confused with ceremony time and pick up time!

Amica: Can you share with our readers any lessons learned in planning a wedding, and is there anything you might have done differently?

Becky: It’s OK to not invite people. Keeping it to close family and friends you are able to spend more time with your guests and enjoy it. For us it was about celebrating the love and support of those who helped us get to this point in our lives, as a couple and as individuals. Also don’t worry if things don’t go to plan, no one will notice!

Amica: What was your favourite part of your wedding day?

Becky: The ceremony at the church

Amica: Any last words of advice to future brides?

Becky: Enjoy every second, the day goes so quickly! Make sure that you take half an hour together away from everyone to have a drink with each other...

Becky and Marc are heading off on a familymoon to Lara beach in Turkey with their two children. We are so grateful to the newlywedded Cioffis for letting us share their story with you all, and wish them every happiness in their future lives together!

With love from all of us at Amica Bridal Boutique xx
