Plymouth Bridal Boutique Exclusively Chosen by Fashion Guru Gok Wan 

A Plymouth bridal shop has been exclusively chosen by British icon and fashion guru Gok Wan to join him on the Plymouth leg of his style and fashion body confidence masterclass roadshow, “One Size Fits All”. 

Amica Bridal Boutique, which is based at Marsh Mills in Plymouth, was chosen by Gok to showcase their bridal gowns on Sunday 27th October at the dazzling fashion event which is to be held at Plymouth’s Crowne Plaza on Armada Way. 

During the roadshow, award-winning fashion stylist, TV host, author and champion of all women Gok Wan, will host two catwalk shows featuring a full range of clothing from bridal to vintage and everything in between. Amica Bridal Boutique will be showcasing ten of their stunning bridal gowns during the catwalk shows and the event also features a body shape masterclass, a trend analysis, hair styling demonstrations and a Q&A session with Gok Wan himself. 

Co-owner of Amica Bridal Boutique Amanda Atwill says, “British icon Gok Wan is not only the presenter of wedding show ‘Say Yes to the Dress UK’, but also famous for empowering women and giving them confidence in their own skin - something which we endeavour to do every day at Amica Bridal Boutique. 44 year old Gok Wan last visited Britain’s Ocean City back in 2015 when he starred in pantomime Cinderella at the Theatre Royal. He says, “I was in panto in Plymouth for a long time so I know the crowd. Plymouth is a vibrant coastal town full of great food and drink, and great people.….. The roadshow will be a full-packed day, it doesn’t stop and literally goes like a steam train from the moment you enter the building. Body Confidence is not about waking up and loving every part of you, it’s about waking up and not hating any part of you.”  

Hundreds of lucky ticket holders are expected to attend the event to get fashion inspiration, body confidence tips, and to hopefully find the wedding dress of their dreams...
